Pork Chops: Thick-Cut, Bone-In, Full of Flavor!

First of all, I would like to thank each of you for your kind response to my cookbook release.  It has been very exciting!  I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to hear that the Veal Spinach Loaf you made disappeared in 20 minutes at your family’s Easter gathering or how you loved listening to the “Prep” playlist while making Overnight French Toast.

Please keep all your comments and pictures coming!  Post them on social media with the hashtag #GarlicAndOliveOilCookbook and please be sure to leave a review on Amazon and/or Apple.  Reviews are very important in getting the word out there!

If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, make sure to get it now!  Click on the “Buy The Cookbook” tab in the menu and it will take you right where you need to go.  Don’t forget, it makes a great gift for Mother’s Day!

It has been so long since I shared a recipe with you and I’m very excited to share this one.  It is easy, quick and delicious (the three best ways to describe any recipe)!

Pork chops were never my thing growing up, they were so dry and boring. By highschool my mom would actually apologize because she knew I truly didn’t like them, “Sorry Emily, but we’re having pork chops tonight.” Now, I’m in charge of the pork chops. I buy beautiful thick cut, bone-in chops that are juicy and full of flavor!

Here is all you do: put pork chops in a resealable bag, toss in some Italian Dressing and Soy Sauce.  Let everything marinade on the counter for about 20 minutes then grill them.  That’s it!  I told you it was easy!  Give it a whirl this weekend and serve it with some corn on the cob and grilled veggies (if you have my book you can see how easy it will be to make the whole meal on the grill, smiley face).
