I love my reusable bags.  Here’s a sample of some of my favorites.

Yes, I have more than just these.  I have smaller bags, larger bags, bags just for wine bottles (3 of those), bags made of other material… but these are my favorites.  And, they each remind me of something different.  I could go into the “meaning” of all my bags and their “special uses” but I know that no one else cares but me.  So I won’t bore you with all of that.

The main reason I love these is that they are canvas.  That means they are WASHABLE!!!  And I love washing them.  It makes me happy.

I am not a fan of the bags that are that weird plasticky material but not plastic.  I definitely don’t like reusable plastic bags.  That is just my personal preference.  But, any reusable bag you like is better than a one time use bag.

Reusable bags are more comfortable to carry and I am never nervous they are going to break and all my groceries/toiletries are going to spill all over the place.  If you can’t use a reusable, choose paper.  Then, use said paper bag to put all your recycling in.  If there is no other choice but plastic (and this happens to us all at some point) then at least reuse your plastic bags as much as possible.  I put them in the bathroom/bedroom trash cans around my house.

I’m not trying to harp here.  But it’s so fun to get a new bag that you love.  Use them to show your personality, show some place you’ve travelled to or support a local business.  There are a lot of good things that come from reusable bags.  If you haven’t started using them already, I highly encourage you to give it a try.
