- Put the nuts in a dry pan
- Turn the heat on the stove to medium high
- Constantly stir nuts so they will brown evenly.
Timing depends on many variables. Below is a photo of toasted pine nuts. They probably took about 5 minutes.
Nuts can burn fast. Just keep stirring and once they are browned to your liking remove them from the pan. The pan will stay hot so if you don’t take them out, the nuts will just keep cooking (aka burn).
