Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oats (Overnight)

Ingredients

  • 4 c Water
  • 13.5 fl oz can Coconut Milk*
  • 1 c Steel Cut Oats
  • dash of Kosher Salt
  • 1-2 Cinnamon Sticks optional
  • 2 Ripe Bananas, mashed optional

Instructions

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in a slow cooker and stir to combine.
  • Turn the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours (overnight).
  • In the morning, give it a stir. If desired, add the mashed bananas and stir to combine.
  • Dish into bowls and eat as is or add whatever additional toppings you like!

Notes

*If you don't want to use coconut milk increase the water or other milk by 13.5 oz or about 1 2/3 cups.
