Angel Food Trifle

  • 1 Angel Food Cake
  • 8 oz container Cool Whip
  • Strawberries about 2 pounds
  • Blueberries about 2 pints


  • Remove ¾ of the cake from the container and cube (you can freeze the remaining cake for another use).  Layer ½ of the cake cubes in the trifle bowl.
  • Slice the prettiest strawberries in half and arrange in the bowl so they are seen from the outside.  Place a blueberry in between each strawberry.  Layer 1 cup of sliced strawberries and about ¾ a cup of blueberries on the cake. Spread half of the Cool Whip on the fruit.
  • Repeat arrangement of halved strawberries and blueberries around the bowl.  Fill with remaining cubes of cake.  Spread another cup of sliced strawberries and ¾ cup of blueberries on top of the cake pieces.  Spread remaining Cool Whip on top.
  • Decorate the top with a few blueberries and strawberries.  Use a big spoon and serve a heapful of trifle!
